TRUSTEE – PORTFOLIO FOR COLLECTIONS
Hornsea Museum is looking to recruit a trustee with overall responsibility for the collection (including Hornsea Pottery). The position would suit an applicant who has an eye for detail, the ability to follow systems and procedures, and who recognises the importance of following procedures precisely. The successful applicant would meet with the board four times a year and liaise with a working group of collection & pottery team leaders and senior members of those teams who attend the museum regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. TRUSTEE – PORTFOLIO FOR ACCREDITATION
Hornsea Museum is looking to recruit a trustee with overall responsibility for museum accreditation. The Accreditation Scheme is the UK industry standard for museums and galleries and is overseen by Arts Council England. This position would suit an applicant who has an interest in policy and compliance within the museum sector. The successful applicant would meet with and report to the board of trustees four times a year. No Prior experience of working in museums is necessary as training and mentoring will be given.
