Group Visits

Guided Group Tours of Hornsea Museum
Hornsea Museum welcomes visits by groups and can offer guided tours by prior arrangement. These are led by experienced volunteers and are intended to provide a detailed introduction to the various collections, as well as an insight to the background and workings of the museum itself.

We suggest you allow 2 hours for a tour (2.5 hours if booking refreshments). Visitors are then free to explore the museum further at their leisure (closing time 4pm). Those wishing to leave the museum may return the same day at no additional charge, should they wish to visit a café/restaurant in the town.
To facilitate this, visitor’s hands are stamped upon entry.

The museum regrets we do not have an inhouse café.

We also suggest a maximum group size of 20 due to the small size of many of the museum’s rooms, particularly those found in the C18th farmhouse.

Refreshments
A selection of cakes, biscuits and hot drinks can be provided but must be booked in advance to allow for catering to be arranged.

Prices
Guided tour: £6.00 per person (includes full day admission).
Refreshments: £2.00 per person.
